Hi All

I am not from Italy and I wanted to know if it is possible to buy the old Fiat 500 and take it out of Italy to my country?
I heard that it might be not possible to do it becasue you have a law that doesnt allow people that are not from Italy (and not from the EU) to buy the old Fiat 500 from Italy and take it out of Italy to my country...

Can somebody help me with this issue?

i just saw your message, i did the export from Italy (but inside the EU) and the procedure was as follow:
canceling of the registration in Italy FOR EXPORT (special procedure);
registered in Czech Republic with:
copy of the old registration document (libretto di circolazione)
document from PRA (Italian registration bureau) confirming that registration was canceled for export;
dichiarazione di conformita' from Ministero dei Trasporti (sounds like fiche of omologation) translated in Czech language;
on my car was also presente ASI certification ( equivalent of FIVA registration)
that's it.
